Open, Closed Coaches Shift Line-ups; Radcliffe Invited

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Coach Dwight Hyde 1B of "Open" University yesterday announced six line-up changes and Coach Jerry Kanter 1B of "Closed" College made one as they completed arrangements for Monday's all-star House football game in the Stadium.

The free game will begin at 2 p.m.

A rash of injuries, both physical and academic, caused Hyde to add six new players to his squad. The CRIMSON, which has prepared free programs, will mimeograph a list of number changes and pass them out with the programs.

The new "Open" players are John Manning and Richard Hutchinson, Winthrop; Louis Tsarvaris and James Wade, Dunster; Bob Egan, Dudley and Charles Stwerat, Kirkland.

The lone "Closed" casualty is Dave Dawson of Lowell, who sprained his ankle in the Bellboys' victory over Dunster yesterday. Kanter has not yet decided who will take Dawson's place.

Another "Open" change is likely, because halfback Bob Smith of Dunster broke his nose in the Lowell game.

Maryalice McArdle '52, president of the Radcliffe Student Government, yesterday called on 'Cliffedwellers to support Harvard House football by coming to Monday's free game.

For cheering purposes, the Radcliffe dorms have been divided up as follows: OPEN--Barnard Hall, Briggs Hall, Cabot Hall, Edmonds House, Eliot Hall, 20 Walker Street, and Whitman Hall.

CLOSED--Bertram Hall, Everett House, 55 Garden Street, Gilman House, Moors Hall, Saville House.
