Four Harvard quarter-milers will be sent to compete in the annual Southern Relays in Birmingham, Alabama, on April 14. This is the first time since the last war that Harvard has been invited to the Relays. Ronnie Berman (above), Ed Grutzner, John Packard, Tom McGrath, and Lou Tsavaris will be competing in time trials to make up a mile relay quartet for the trip.

Al Wilson will go to Birmingham to throw the discus in field events which will be held at the same time. On April 14 the remainder of the team takes on Boston College in a dual meet.
