Warren A. Seavey '02 will speak on "China, My Travels and Views," at the Harkness Common Coffee Hour this afternoon at 1. p.m. Seavey founded the first law school in China in 1906, at Peiyang University, using textbooks from the Harvard Law School where he is now Bussey Professor of Law.
In 1907, Seavey predicted Japanese aggression in the Pacific. He remained in China until 1911, and left just before the Chinese revolution.
