Dick Larkin pitched a two-hitter for the Kirkland baseball team to lead the Deacons to a 7 to 4 win over Dunster. Kirkland led all the way, and scored four runs in the fourth inning on three walks, an error, and a base hit.
In the other House baseball game yesterday, Steve Stamatopulos of Lowell and Ken Wells of Winthrop fought a pitchers duel to a 1 to 1 tie.
The deacons defected Dunster, 9 to 6 in softball, while Lowell beat Winthrop, 9 to 6. The Bellboys won a tennis match with Leverett, 6 to 1. In golf the Bunnies lost again to Kirkland, 5 to 0. The Deacon team averaged scores in he low 80s.
