World Law Professor Emeritus Dies, Aged 88

George G. Wilson, professor of International Law, emeritus, died at 88 Monday night at the Kirkland Inn in Cambridge. Wilson was prominent as a United States delegate to international conferences from 1900 on.

After serving as a lecturer at the University for three years, Wilson became a full professor in 1910. He spent 1912 and 1913 in France as an exchange professor. In 1936 he retired.

Conferences Wilson attended included the International Naval Conference of 1908, the Central American Tribunal of 1928, and the Washington Conference on the limitation of Armaments in 1921. He also wrote several books on international law.
