Eleven Works On Improving Attack

The first and second varsity teams went through an hour long offensive scrimmage yesterday afternoon, as Lloyd Jordan attempted to sharpen up his attack before taking up Holy Cross plays today.

Working out in a light rain, the squad looked unexpectedly sharp in the pre-scrimmage pass defense drill and in contact work.

Fred Ravreby, sidelined since the beginning of the practice schedule with an injured hip, returned to the first string during the afternoon workouts, alternating at offensive right end with Hank Rate.

Following the practice, Coach Jordan announced that he would continue last year's practice of opening the Monday session to any visitors who presented bursar's cards.
