Center Doug Manchester led the freshman hockey team in scoring for the second straight time with five goals and two assists as the Yardlings trampled Andover, 13 to 3, yesterday afternoon at Andover.
Captain Bob Marsolais, with three goals and one assist, and wing Neddie Bliss, with two goals and two assists, were next on the list of high scorers.
Marsolais started the Crimson scoring early in the first period. His team tallied four more times in that period, and six more in the second. Andover goalie Paul Jameson saved 34 Crimson attempts in those two periods.
The win over Andover was the seventh straight for the Yardlings. Coach Myles Huntington's team has amassed a total of 72 scores in those seven games, as against the opponents' ten.
