Yardling Track Team Tops Andover, 65-34

Bob Rittenburg paced the freshman track team to an easy 65 to 34 victory, its fifth straight, at Andover yesterday afternoon. The two first places in the hurdles and broad jump a tie for first with Sewell Hayes in the high jump, and a third in the 300 gave Rittenburg 15 points.

The most encouraging signs of the meet for the Yardlings, who meet Yale Saturday, where the top-notch performances of Dud Uphoff and Roger Machanic.

Less unexpected but equally well done were victories by Charlie Arena in the dash, Rennie Little in the 600, and Captain Alan Howe in the 300.
