Niebuhr Hospitalized

Illness has forced Reinhold Niebuhr to cancel his scheduled lecture series and Memorial Church sermon here this spring, the Appleton Club announced yesterday. The Club, which was to have sponsored Niebuhr's talks here on March 16, 17, and 18, revealed yesterday that it does not intend to substitute another lecturer.

Niebuhr is now in a New York hospital, where he will remain for some time. His condition is not serious.
