House Hockey Players Meet For Inaugural All-Star Game

Open-Closed Teams Vie Tomorrow at Arena; Adams House Only Unrepresented Squad

Open University and Closed College will live again tomorrow night when the H.A.A. sponsors its first annual House Hockey All-Star game, starting at 6.45 p.m. in the Boston Arena. This contest will precede the Harvard-Princeton varsity match.

Closed College, which includes Dudley, Dunster, and Eliot men, will field the traditional Blue, while Open U., composed of Leverett, Lowell, Kirkland, and Winthrop will wear the Green. Adams, which has forfeited its last two league games, will not be represented on the All-Star squads.

Despite the fact that each squad will have only one practice session, close play throughout the season in the intramural hockey league indicates that this should be a good game. The two intramural league leaders, Dudley and Winthrop, have been split up to give each squad an equal chance.

Coach Jim Fleming of Eliot House plans to play all of his men an equal time, using Mike Jackson and Oscar Swenson as his goalies.

Open U. has not yet announced its lineups, but Coach Jim McGinty of Dudley figures that his squad is ready to give the Closed sextet a good game.

The Closed squad lineup is as follows: Frank Basius, Hugh Graham, George Leary, Neil Howland, Oscar Swenson, and Bill Whoriskey of Dudley; Larry Boies, Bob Farnham, and Mitch Rosenholz of Dunster; Dean Howells, Mike Jackson, Terry King, Pete Lawson, Mike Ward, and Peter Ward of Eliot.

Open U. squad is as follows: Slug Dolan, Dana Getchell, Roger Swanson of Kirkland: Art French, Will Kurth, John Marshall. Henry McKusker, and Dan Simonds of Leverett; Hollis Hunnewell and Bruce White of Lowell; Ed Bloom, Bob Baldwin, Dave Cabot, Fritz Drill, Roger Howland, and Roger Taylor of Winthrop.
