Man Injured as Nash Hits Mem Drive Tree

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Over 300 students were roused at 1:25 a.m. today when a 1950 Nash sideswiped a tree at the corner of Plympton Street and Memorial Drive, bounced around, and landed in the middle of the road.

The sole occupant, Sigtry Ofalsson, a fisherman, was taken to City Hospital, where he is in "very critical condition."

The corner, scene of innumerable accidents, was covered with glass. The car was demolished. Inside were a man's hat and two dolls.
