The Harvard Theatre Group will present G. B. Shaw's "Candida" Saturday night, May 10 in addition to the three performances already announced for May 8 and 9; publicity director Ralph Kennan '54 announced last night.
HTG planned to hold the show on the evening of May 8 and to present a matinee and evening performance May 9 but had left May 10's performance pending on agreement with the Crimson Key. The Key did not want HTG to compete with the Straw Hat Ball, slated for 10 p.m. May 10, until after a major part of the Straw Hat tickets were sold.
The show stars Joanna Brown '52, Theodore Gershuny '54, and Theodore W. Thieme '52 with Irving Yoskowits '53 directing and lan W. Cadenhead '53 producing. Others appearing in the Agassiz Theatre presentation are Miss Allyn Moss of New York, and P. Michael Mabry '53.
The Theatre Group had originally scheduled Shakespeare's "Measure for Measure" for the weekend, but production difficulties forced cancellation.
