A clean sweep in the running events led the Yardling track team to an overwhelming 72 3/5 to 8 2/5 triumph over Phillips Academy at Andover yesterday afternoon. The informal meet was the first of the year for the Crimson, which opens its official season against Boston University Saturday. Joel Cohen led the way for the freshmen with 11 4/5 points, including victories in the 40-yard high hurdles and the broad jump.
