The NCAA football rules committee yesterday voted to keep one-platoon ball for another season. After hearing some 40 proposals to liberalize the limited substitution rule the committee turned them all down in favor of the 1953 rule.

No rules changes were made. The committee decided to "rely on the integrity of the coaches rather than upon further legislation."
