Black Ice Off Menu

A snag has developed in Radcliffe's plans to celebrate its 75th anniversary, with the forced removal of the red, white, and black Radcliffe shield from the ice cream which was to be served at the celebration dinner on Dec. 3.

Miss Marjorie L. Russ, Annex dietitian, explained last night she had discovered that the imprint of the shield would make the diners' teeth black.

Last night, however, a production manager of the Bushway Ice Cream Co., which supplies Radcliffe, denied that the shield would make anyone's teeth black. "The shield was just too heavy and undelicate for Radcliffe," the manager said.
