SQU ASHED

The Mail

To the Editor of the CRIMSON:

Last Saturday afternoon two of us felt like playing squash. We went down to the University Squash Courts and were surprised to find a sign, "closed Saturday." Then we walked up to Hemenway, where we were told that the courts there were open only to members of the freshman and varsity teams. Now, the upper-classmen presumably have their own courts in the Houses; but are there enough? And this still leaves us Freshmen out in the cold.

In the course of Looking for open courts we came across at least ten others engaged in the same hopeless task. We would just be interested in knowing if we twelve are the only non-team players at Harvard who would enjoy a game of squash on Saturday. Peter Gross '58   David Tobey '58
