The varsity fencing team opens its 1954 season against a formidable West Point team today. Captain Les scherer will lead the team against the Cadets at 2 p.m. in the indoor Athletic Building.

Following the varsity match, the freshmen meet Bradford-Durfee school of Fall River in the I.A.B. at 4 p.m.
