Resignation of Robert Amory, Jr., assistant director of the Central Intelligence Agency, as professor of Law was announced yesterday in President Pusey's Annual Report.

Amory has been on a leave of absence from the Law School since accepting the position of Assistant Director of CIA, to which he was appointed in 1952. His resignation from the Law School faculty is effective during the current academic year.

Professor Since 1947

Amory was appointed professor of Law and Accounting at the Law School in 1947. He entered the army in 1941 as a private and was discharged a colonel after commanding an amphibious group at New Guinea.

The President's Report also announced the resignation of John W. Teele as Director of the Office of Student Placement in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. He will continue as Director of Personnel.
