Kelley Says Elis Have Better Line

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Brown coach Alva Kelley said last Saturday that the Crimson and Yale elevens are closely matched, "but Yale has the advantage in line depth. They wore us out."

In the Yale Princeton game Saturday, however, the Elis' line failed to keep the Tigers from scoring a 13 to 0 upset victory.

Further demoralization of the Yale line came when tackle Tim Jones wrenched a knee. Whether Jones and quarterback Dick Winterbauer, out with a virus infection, will face the Crimson line Saturday will not be determined until the middle of this week.

Indications are that the Tigers' mastery of the Yale line was mostly psychological, as Royce Flippin, who got in for only 13 plays, has been the Bulldog's biggest nemesis for three seasons.
