Fund Drive Exceeds Last October's Total

The Harvard Fund Drive is running about $42,000 ahead of the total at this stage last year, David T. W. McCord '21, executive secretary of the drive, announced yesterday.

The goal of the 30th anniversary campaign is $700,000 from 18,000 givers. The purpose of the annual fund is to solicit money from alumni for use in the College.

With two months remaining for the fund drive, a total amount of $538,000 has been received from 14,081. The average gift exceeds $40.
