Kirkland's hockey team shot to an early one point lead in yesterday's game against Winthrop, but finally lost, 2 to 3.
The Dunster-Eliot ice battle ended in a 3 to 3 tie, with Pete Frye and Larry Boies of Dunster slipping in two early Funster goals. Dave Cook rounded out the score with a final shot in the last period. After outplaying the Dragons for the first 20 minutes, Lowell lost again, 3 to 0.
In an overtime basketball game, Kirkland fell three points behind Dunster in A League competition to lose 31 to 34. Lowell dropped Adams' squash team 3 to 2, Winthrop lost to Eliot 5 to 0, and Kirkland tied Leverett 1 to 1.
