Tenley Albright '57 is almost certain to regain the women's individual figure skating crown which she won in 1953 but lost last year, experts at the world championship contest in Vienna said yesterday.
At the end of four compulsory figures Miss Albright leads her nearest rival, European champion Hanna Eigel of Austria, by about 30 points. "Only a miracle could keep her from the crown," observers said.
The last two compulsory figures will be completed this morning, and she will give her free skating exhibition tonight.
Miss Albright's victory would give the United States a sweep in the world's individual championships.
