The once-beaten varsity fencing team seeks its first victory of the season tonight when it faces B.U. in the IAB at 7:30 p.m.

Edo Marion, Crimson fencing coach, refused to comment on the outcome of the match last night. "We beat B.U. 14-13 last year and have improved a great deal since that time, but B.U. may also have improved," he said

Marion plans to use John Livingston, Dave Konney and Jim Standefer to fence sabre. Fencing epee will be Bill Plerskalla, Walter Rawis and Bob Serivner, while Paul Forand, Steve Schneider and Serge Sanger will fence foil.

Following the B.U. match, the team will face M.I.T. on Feb. 15. The fencers will then travel to New York for a four team match with Navy, Princeton and Yale on the 19th. While in New York, the team will fence N.Y.U. on the 21st and Columbia on the 22nd.

In their first match of the season, the fencers lost to Cornell, 18-9.
