Columbia Will Play Princeton for Title

Columbia and Princeton will meet for the Ivy League basketball championship tomorrow night at Nek Brunswick, N.J. Last night in a double header at Princeton, the Tigers defeated Brown, 58 to 39, momentarily tying Columbia and Pennsylvania for first place. The triple tie was broken two hours later when Columbia eliminated Penn, 73 to 71.

The Lions trailed by as much as 15 points in the first half, but rallied to reduce their deficit to 40 to 39 at halftime. After the intermission, the Lions went ahead and led by as many as six points. A last second jump shot by Bart Leach just missed tying the score for the Quakers. The Lions' 5-9 Chet Forte was high scorer with 26 points and Leach had 21 for Penn.
