Stahura Wins Four Ivy League Places

Walt Stahura placed in the top eleven in four different categories of Ivy League statistics, it was announced yesterday. John Simourian placed in three groups, while Matt Botsford figured in two.

Stahura ranked sixth in scoring, seventh in punting, and eleventh in rushing and pass receiving. Simourian placed fourth in forward passing, seventh in pass receiving, and tenth in total offense. Botsford rated second in Ivy punting, with 14 punts, and tenth in forward passing. Phil Haughey and Jim Damis ranked fifth and sixth respectively in pass receiving.

League leaders are Art Boland of Cornell for team offense; Claude Benham of Columbia for forward passing; Yale's Al Ward for rushing; Bob Rex of Dartmouth for punting, and Princeton's Hewes Agnew for scoring. Yale and Dartmouth ranked first in team offense and defense respectively, with Harvard ranking fourth and seven in these two categories. The Crimson ranked second in league punting.
