Winthrop Strengthened its house swimming league lead in last night's series of seven dual meets as it defeated Leverett, 28 to 20, and left Dudley behind by a score of 42 to 6. Dunster also won two meets, toppling Lowell 35 to 13, and Eliot, 37 to 11.

The Bunnies trounced Dudley, 42, to 6, for their one victory. The other team to split its two meets, Lowell, triumphed over Eliot by a 27-19 score. In the remaining meet, Kirkland beat Adams, 32 to 16.

Eliot defeated Dunster in basketball yesterday afternoon, 75 to 32.
