NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

William R. Emerson, assistant professor of History at Yale, will give a course here on military history and lecture for the ROTC department next fall, it was learned yesterday.

Although he will be primarily connected with the Defense Studies Program, Emerson will take part in a ROTC subcourse given to cadet freshmen in military history, besides giving a course open to all undergraduates and conducting a graduate seminar.

The course will cover military history since the start of World War I, and will not be required of ROTC students.
