An extra-hole victory in the afternoon's last match gave the Holy Cross golf team a 4-3 victory over the Crimson yesterday at the Charles River Country Club. The Crusaders' Jim Fay edged Lou Klein, 1 up after nineteen holes, to hand the Crimson its third loss against one win on the season.
Crimson wins were recorded by number two man Bob Ornsteen who topped Tom Cunningham after 21 holes, Alan Steinert at number six, who won five and four, and Jim Bailey at seven, who triumphed four and two.
