Gerety, Hauge to Start; Spirit for Game High

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Don Gerety and Chris Hauge will start in the backfield against Yale Saturday, Coach John Yovicsin announced yesterday. Walt Stahura and Sam Halaby may see some action, but still have not yet recovered fully from injuries received in the Brown game.

Yovicsin said he was encouraged by the spirit shown by both the team and students, as several hundred spectators cheered the team at the end of the last home practice. The crowd and the Harvard band lined a flare-marked path as the team ran from the field to Dillon.

The squad concentrated on pass blocking in practice yesterday. The combined varsity, JV, and freshman squads ran through defensive maneuvers.
