Widener Borrowers May Utilize Lamont

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Never again need a conscientious Widener book-borrower trudge through the black of the night at 3 a.m. in the hope of returning a book that has fallen due, only to find no place to return it.

Thomas F. O'Connell, Chief of Circulations and Stacks, announced yesterday that well-meaning scholars may return Widener Library materials to the Lamont Library slot when the College Library is closed. This arrangement will be permanent.

A slot for returning Widener books, located near the entrance, was recently sealed up when additional housing space for the library catalogue was constructed.
