No student resident in the Houses or College dormitories may rent or in any other way acquire an apartment or other form of accomodation for his own purposes without permission of the Dean, the Faculty has ruled. This new regulation is designed to crack down on assorted bounders in the College, it was explained.
Another newly-passed regulation stipulated that seniors who need more than four courses to meet their degree requirements will not be required to take more than four courses in their senior year. But they will be expected to make up their deficiencies by attending the Summer School, rather than by beginning another term in the Fall.
