The long-awaited production of Macbeth by the Cambridge Drama Festival opens this evening at 8 p.m. in the newly constructed Boston Arts Center Theatre across the Charles River.
Playing the title role will be Jason Robards, Jr., who regards this as the most strenuous and important task of his career. Opposite him as Lady Macbeth will be Siobhan McKenna, the star of the group's first production, Twelfth Night. The show will run until August 16.
