SCHOLARSHIP FUND

Eaton E. Lattman '62 has come up with a plan to make better use of the Merit Scholarship stipends that are won by students whose families can afford the cost of a college education. Lattman, a Merit Scholar himself, has requested all honorary winners to send their $100 grants back to the Merit corporation in order to raise money for an additional scholarship to go to a needy student.

He has pooled over $600 at the College and with it will start a "Merit Scholar Scholarship" within the corporation.

If successful, Lattman may try to spread the idea to other colleges.
