Students to Establish Hospice in Cambridge

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A group of undergraduates at the University are working to establish a nonsectarian student center in Cambridge along the lines of the International Student Hospice in New York City.

Negotiations have begun for the purchase of a house near Harvard Square, according to Gordon T. Milde '62, who worked on the project this summer. Several sites are under consideration, but the organizers will not disclose the locations until the money is raised and the purchase confirmed.

The operation of the Cambridge Hospice will parallel the one in New York, according to present plans. Some details include: rent in advance at $1.75 per night and $12 per week, no room service, and no kitchen service, although there will be three fully equipped kitchens.
