LIVE UPDATES: Pro-Palestine Protesters Begin Encampment in Harvard Yard
Quarterback Tim Casgar, whose running and passing sparked the J.V. football squad to a 13-12 victory over Dartmouth last week, will lead the undefeated team against Princeton at 10:30 today. Harvard is looking for its fifth victory.
The Crimson has been virtually untested in Ivy play this year, since games against Brown and Penn were cancelled. But before squeaking by Dartmouth the Crimson J.V. trounced Newport Navy, Tufts, and Connecticut.
Against the Indians Casgar connected for three out of seven passes for a total of 57 yards. Although Harvard outrushed Dartmouth, the Crimson defense gave up 244 yards on the ground.
Right halfback Harris LeRoy, injured earlier in the season, should bolster the J.V. backfield. Left half Sal Fiscina, who caught a 35-yard pass in the Dartmouth game, will pose a scoring threat in today's contest.
