The varsity sailors will seek revenge against the Coast Guard Cadets this weekend, when they defend the Leonard M. Fowie Trophy at New London. Although the Cadets captured the Schell trophy from Harvard a week ago, the Crimson sailors are confident that they can edge the Academy in the team-sailing competition Saturday and Sunday.
Before they can meet Coast Guard, the Crimson must win a semi-final match against a weak B.U. team. Coast Guard is expected to defeat M.I.T. in the other semi-final competition.
Carter Ford, Mike Horn, Mike Lehmass, and Dave Stookey will skipper the Crimson fleet.
