Virgil T. Fryman, Jr. '62, of Quincy House and Washington, Ky., won first place in the Public Speaking Awards competition held last night with an original speech titled "Slogans and Survival." Joseph E. Clements '63, of Quincy House and Houston, Tex., took second place with his talk, "Lightning on the Right." The speech contest was conducted for the first time this year.
