Stickmen Mash Penn As Watts, Williams Star in 15-3 Win

Captain Grady Watts took part in nine Crimson goals and Lou Williams in six Saturday as the varsity lacrosse team romped over the University of Pennsylvania, 15 to 3. The victory was the varsity's fourth straight and marked the third time this season that the team has scored 15 points in a game.

Coach Bruce Munro's stickmen scored only five times in the first two quarters and it was still a close contest at half-time with the Crimson leading 5 to 2. But the Crimson tallied seven times in a blistering third period effort that left the Quakers nine goals behind.

Watts was more than brilliant, scoring twice and collecting four assists in the 15 minute period. He was ably backed by Williams, who wrapped up the Crimson scoring with a tally at 3:59 of the last quarter. It was the 6 ft., 3 in, sophomore attackman's fifth goal of the afternoon and his 27th of the year.

Midfielder Pete Wood was the only other stickman to score more than once in the contest.
