Crimson Stickmen to Face Williams

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The varsity lacrosse team will try to pick itself off the ground after its 12-7 loss to Princeton last Saturday as it faces Williams today at Williamstown.

In its last two outings against Williams, the varsity has lost one and tied one, and thus will really be trying for a victory today. Comparative scores against common opponents indicate a heavy Crimson advantage, but Williams is capable of playing good lacrosse when it wants to--and against Harvard it usually wants to.

The Ephmen also will have the advantage of the home field and the home crowd. The Crimson stickmen will be without the services of second midfielder Gil Bamford, who was injured in the Princeton game. Pete Woods, who broke his hand in practice two days ago, is still a question mark, although he may still take the field today if the injury can be adequately protected.

But Coach Bruce Munro's varsity should still come out on top--assuming, of course, that the sky doesn't fall in.
