Alumnae came all the way from Mercer Island, Wash., and La Jolla, Cal., to attend the sixth biennial Radcliffe College Alumnae Council. Over 100 of the remaining delegates were from Massachusetts.

Of the 161 alumnae expected, 153 registered. Attendance at the Council was closer to 175, however, because "some representatives didn't happen to stop and pick up their registration envelopes," said Dorothy S. Manks '19, who was co-chairman of registration with Emily Sibley '14. Some speakers and college officials were not required to register, Miss Manks added.

Delegates attended from 59 classes, ranging from 1899 to 1964.

The representative of the Class of 1899 was 88-year-old Cornelia J. Cannon. In addition, class agents were invited specially so that they could update the conceptions of Radcliffe they give to their respective classes. Thirty more alumnae represented clubs.

Seventeen alumnae volunteers helped with the registration, which began at 9 a.m. Tuesday in Agassiz and remained open throughout the entire three-day council.

The 1964 Council session, which lasted three days, will end at lunch today. President Pusey and President Gilbert will be among the speakers.
