Island Prize
The Island announced today that John Lewis, a graduate student in English, was awarded the $25 first prize for the best poem submitted in their contest. His poem, will appear in the May issue of the new literary magazine. Judges were William Alfred. Albert J. Gelpi. at John L. Sweeney.
