The Boston College freshmen's big and strong first line contributed five goals and assisted on a sixth to defeat the Crimson Feshmen, 7-3, at Watson Rink yesterday afternoon. Minnesotan Tim Sheehy led the barrage with a hat trick, as the Eaglets moved to 3-1 and 4-2 leads after the first and second periods.
Jim Baldassari talied the Yardlings first counter at 16:45 of the first period, to 3-2 two minutes into the second period. B.C. pulled away then, and had posted six goals before Bob Farrell registered the Crimson's thrid after a pass from andre Lemieux.
Many Harvard players were impressive notably the first line of Jack Tuco, Dick Delaney, and Baldassari and defeneman Chris Gurry, but no one stopped sheehy.
