Former Harvard standout Bobby Leo will be activated by the Boston Patriots for Saturday's final American Football League home game of the season against Buffalo, Coach Mike Holovak said Wednesday.
Leo is scheduled to see action as a flanker back and possibly as a punt and kickoff return specialist.
Leo, a former schoolboy star at nearby Everett who went on to set a Harvard career rushing average record of 5.5 yards per carry, was the Patriots' fifth draft choice last spring.
The 5-foot-11, 175 pound speedster spent the early part of the season in the Army and has been working with the Patriots' taxi squad since rejoining the club several weeks ago.
