(The following correspondence was discovered during the occupation of University Hall.--ed.) April 1, 1962

Dear Nate:

In reply to your query, I believe we have the relocation problem squarely under control. For a mere several million (or so my cousin Willy the real estate man assures me) Harvard can purchase some of the choicest acreage available in North Dakota. The plan, as we conceive it, is to construct a new community closely modelled on Cambridge--to be called "Pusey Bluffs." The residents in question will be flown all-expenses-paid, non-stop-direct to Bismarck, with fortnightly bus connections to Yellowstocking, and bimonthly sand-buggy service to Pusey Bluffs.

Which one of us. Nate, would not give his eyeteeth to leave the hurley-burley of megalopolis for such an idyllic paradise? I know I would. Allow me to extend my hearty congratulations to you and to the team which finally licked the relocation problem. I have raised this issue in passing with several of my colored friends in the community, and a conceivable point of friction emerges. Dear Nate:

I cannot thank you enough for recalling to mind the critical question of community involvement and consultation. As it happens, we too wished to provide a mechanism for involving the citizenry in our plans for relocation. And we believe we have hit upon such a mechanism. When the plane is hovering over North Dakota, a binding referendum will be held on whether or not to land.

Dear Henry:

It gives me great pleasure to learn that plans for your new center are proceeding forward with out hitch. It does to me, however, that a more suitable name might be found for the model community than "Pusey Bluffs." Since to town won't be more than about six feet above sea level, wouldn't "Pusey Flats" be wiser?

In closing, I cannot help but add that a more diplomatically phrased title might also be found for your entire enterprise than me "Center for world Domination."   yrs in haste,   Nathan Pusey
