Bucs Win, 4-0; Now Lead 3-2

Pittsburgh's Nelson Briles allowed only two hits as the Pirates blasted the Baltimore Orioles, 4-0, to take a 3-2 lead in the best of seven World Series.

The only hits for the Orioles were singles in the second inning by Brooks Robinson and in the seventh by Boog Powell. Pittsburgh, which had 14 hits, began its scoring in the second inning when Bob Robertson belted a home run and Briles helped his own cause by knocking in a run with a single.

Gene Clines scored in the third on a wild pitch and again in the fifth on Roberto Clemente's base hit.

The series returns tomorrow to Baltimore, where Bob Moose will hurl for Pittsburgh against the Orioles' second-game winner, Jim Palmer.

If the Pirates win the Series, they would become only the fifth team to win a best-of-seven World Series after losing the first two games.
