The Boston Bruins exploded for four goals in the final period to snap a 2-2 deadlock and defeat the Chicago Black Hawks in a National Hockey League game played yesterday in Boston.
Early Lead
The Bruins led, 2-0, early in the second period, but Chicago rallied to tie the game on goals by Pit Martin and Stan Mikita. Wayne Cashman then began the Boston comeback by converting a Bobby Orr rebound in the third period Subsequent goals by Glenn Sheppard. Terry O'Reilly and Dave Forbes completed the Bruin outburst.
