HUPD Chief Says Harvard Yard Encampment is Peaceful, Defends Students’ Right to Protest
Harvard opens its Ivy hockey schedule with a 7:30 contest at Watson Rink tonight against a not-so-hot team from Pennsylvania. The Crimson is coming off a heartbreaking 5-4 defeat at the skates of Providence on Wednesday night, the same Providence squad that trounced the Quakers, 7-0, a week ago in Philadelphia.
Students planning to attend tonight's game are advised that the ongoing Soldiers Field construction requires that an all-new route be taken while entering the hockey rink.
This route parallels the construction as far as the Palmer Dixon tennis courts, at which point you take two sharp lefts and hopefully find yourself at the left front door entrance to the rink. If not, then hail a cab.
And if you're not into hockey, the Crimson hoopsters have a big game way down the green line--at Boston College--against the formerly mighty Eagles. Besides, Chestnut Hill is a lot easier to find than Watson Rink.
