BOSTON--California shortstop Tim F li drove in four runs with a homer, single, sacrifice fly and suicide squeeze bunt to lead the Angels to a 10-2 rout of the Boston Red Sox yesterday.

The Angels also got offensive production from more customary sources. Brian Downing and Bobby Grich slammed back-to-back homers in one of California's two four-run innings.

Bruce Kisen, 4-0, allowed just four hits in his first complete game of the season. John Tuder, 4-2, was the loser.

Despite the loss, the Sox remain in first place in the American League East, 1 1/2 games ahead of Detroit.
