Athletic Bacon

Keeping Track

"Harvard does not give 'athletic scholar ships,' just occasionally athletic bacon," the Yard Bulletin saw fit to explain last week.

It seems that some hungry freshmen noticed that some of their larger classmates were being served bacon with their break fast on a recent Saturday, and complained.

As it turns out, the Athletic Department had ordered (and paid for) the extra food to be served as a sort of pre-game training meal.

Hope someone checked that stuff for steroids.
