When and no name philosopher trying to get his book published forget Professor of Philosophy Robert Nozick's name to a letter of recommendation last spring it was mildly irritating.
"There I was minding my own business and suddenly I'm entwined in all this," Nozick said this fall.
But when the publishers asked Nozick to read the manuscript anyway, that was just too much. "Nozick was outraged by the proposal," according to an article in this month's "Manhattan, inc.," a New York business magazine.
Random House Editorial Director Jason Epstein put the request in for the plagiarist manuscript entitled. "Telling Right From Wrong."
"He said no," Epstein was quoted as saying." "It was understandable."
